Cookie Wisdom

In lieu of cookie wisdom this time, I'd like to comment on the whole Cookie Monster fiasco.

So, Cookie Monster is going to stop singing his "C is for Cookie" song and sing about how cookies are a "sometimes" food?

Okay, too many cookies may be bad for us humans, but from a veterinary perspective, I appreciate species differences. My question is: where's the literature that says that cookies are bad food for monsters? For all we know, cookies are the perfect health food for them. Their physiology is no doubt vastly different from ours, so why do we assume what's bad for us is bad for them?

Oh well. It's the end of an era.
