THE QUESTION
"So why veterinary medicine, and not people medicine?"

It will probably take me several posts to answer this question.

THE ANSWER, Part One:
Often the question is accompanied with a comment about how much more money a "real" doctor makes.

Well, my reply to that is: Anyone motivated soley by money should not become a veterinarian or physician. Or a lawyer, or public official, or educator. Period.
